So far, what scant attention has been paid to foreign policy in the 2016 presidential race has focused on the candidates’ ever more hysterical denunciations of the Iran deal or Donald Trump and his idiotic ideas to start a trade war with China or build a fence around all of the US. Trump, in particular, has demonstrated a breathtaking lack of understanding of the rest of the world.
Last week, The Washington Post ran a 20-question quiz on global issues for every prospective president. While I doubt the candidates will be signing up to take this quiz, I found it to be quite comprehensive and surprisingly difficult. I got 18 of the questions correct. How many can you get?
